The Mahet family have run successful restaurants in Bristol for a very long time, they started their career in Clifton Village in the famous Bombay Spice restaurant in 1999 and from there they moved to a far more superior restaurant in Downend called the Tamarind.
This fabulous restaurant is one of its kind offering 96 seats in superior surroundings.
Tamarind is headed by Abdul and his older brother Malik, some say the better looking, but hey go along and judge for yourself! Malik oversees all of the kitchen staff and cooking.
The restaurant specializes in all types of Indian cuisine , some of the dishes are unique to the Tamarind only and lots of customers ask to take the secret recipes home as they are so delicious.
